GAHHH!!! Kindle has been ordered. Thanks to a variety of gift cards, I only spent about $20 on it. But now, I'm all crazed because I want it to get here now!!! Waiting for shipping is just frustrating.

You will LOVE it. I love mine, and I've never been an e-book person. I am now. Not only do I read plenty of books I have no need to have in hard copy, but it's so freaking convenient.

BTW, I highly recommend this light. I /think/ the dimensions on the Kindle 2 are the same as the one I assume you got (the latest generation--I'm jealous, your contrast will be better than mine), and it works very well without unbalancing the kindle when I read at night.

Anyway, welcome to the party! Miss you, by the way.
