Miscellaneous stuff

I need to clean my house. As motivation to clean, I was going to invite the usual suspects over for our Tuesday TV Shows. Naturally, Gilmore Girls is a repeat and House is not on. Guess I need to motivate myself.
Lost 3 lbs on the new diet so far. Let's hope this isn't a fluke and I can stick with the program. If nothing else, I've been eating whole grain bread for a week now and that's gotta be a healthy change, right. So, total weight loss so far since January is 5.5 lbs. Yeah, not such a good start, but you can see why I bailed on the Weight Watchers plan. It obviously wasn't working for me this time around.
Had a good work out tonight in class. Still needing to improve my endurance while working a heavy load. At this point, I'm afraid any hill that I can't get over in two minutes or less is going to be the death of me. I just run out of oomph.
I'm going to start hosting small dinner parties I think. By small, I mean limited to 4... maybe 5 people including myself. Not until after April though, because I currently only have two dining chairs, and I'm sticking to my "not before April" resolve regarding going to the new Ikea.
Had an excellent time at the Frequencies reunion show. Music so did not suck, and hey, I've got a serious crush on their drummer. Met cool people. Had lots of good conversation. Stayed up way too late.
Does anyone else do this? I'm checking TV listings to see if there's anything on I want to watch and I see a movie I love, for example Sixteen Candles. But it started 5 minutes earlier, and it's gonna be so badly edited for language, it'll be laughable. But, since I own it, I go to my DVD shelf, grab the disc and stick it in the player.

Yep. Yep. Yep.
