Huh. I just called the property management company for my apartment about a problem with our heater/ac intake fan. Michael called yesterday, but for some reason they needed me to call today as well. That's odd, but that's not so much the odd part. What struck me as weird is that they actually remembered that Michael had called yesterday and were actually expecting and prepared for my call. Hello? This is Whisler? The most disorganized property management company in the city? I'm stunned.
Anyway, a service guy should be out today.

Date: 2004-12-30 07:13 pm (UTC)It's actually just luck that someone's coming out today, since it's not an emergency issue (heater works, but the intake fan vibrates and rattles loudly and actually interferes with other, more welcome noises in the house), but there was someone coming out to our building for another unit today anyway.

Date: 2004-12-30 08:17 pm (UTC)To be honest, though I've heard many horror stories about them, I've personally never had a problem with them attitude-wise or with service -- the one time I called them, they had an electrician out within the hour; it's not their fault that I could have fixed it with a flick of a finger if I'd known where to look. And they didn't charge us for it, either.
