So here's the game:
* On your current playlist, hit shuffle and pick the first twenty-five songs on the list (no matter how embarrassing)
* Write down a line of the song. Try to avoid putting the song title in the line.
* Have your friends comment and see if they know the songs (and artists)
* When someone guesses correctly, strike out the line and list the correct name of the song next to it.
This was originally 35, which I agree was too many, then it got cut to 20 which I thought was too few, so I added a few more. I filtered out some of the truly obscure works in my collection, since George Mears' college roommate never had much of a following outside of Clark Kerr Campus, and also cut some of the things from Kevin's collection that I've assimilated, but I don't really know very well. I also regret that I had to leave out The Kimberly Trip lyrics, citing that the Sacramento crowd had an unfair advantage.
Have fun, and oh yeah, Thou shalt not Google:

Date: 2004-12-22 12:48 am (UTC)#10 - I'll give it to you, since nobody's even dared to get that close on it. It's Guns Then.
#25 - Can't be Googled! (as you have since discovered.) Don't know if you're insane or not. The band didn't have too strong of a following outside of the SF Bay Area, however they had been known to tour with Depeche Mode.
