Overtime

We're behind one on of my plans. Massively behind. And I haven't been able to work on it for the last week. So, I came in early.

And what happens? My other plan came to me screwed up from the IT guys who have the system set to treat the Friday after Thanksgiving as a holiday. What this means is that it sent me a comprehensive report for all auths received from Wednesday through Sunday. The problem being, I ran the Wednesday through Thursday auths on Friday. I needed a Friday through Sunday report. What this meant, is that I had to go through the 600 auth report for each plan and sort out the 500 duplicates before I could run it.

What should have taken me 5 minutes took me 4 hours.

Now, working on the plan that's behind, I'm typing this post while waiting for the program to acknowledge that I've hit "enter."

This is so frustrating.

You'll get out in time on Friday, right? I got our tickets ordered already. You'll owe me $9 for the student price. I also have my friend Jessie going with us. She lives in Davis and will be coming to my place earlier in the evening. Maybe we can set it up to meet you clsoer to your work? That way it'll be easier to get out of Suckramento.

The 3 of us will be sitting in the front. Don't worry...it's not RHS. You'll not get licked by any ghosts. ::wink::

I'll be getting off at 5... no danger of it going later than that. As for meeting closer, that would be good if you can manage it. Not necessarily at my work (I work in Rancho), but somewhere closer to Hwy 50, so I don't have to fight my way back up to your place. Am I driving for the three of us? Maybe a light rail station (park & ride on Power Inn?), or somewhere downtown...
