Well, at least the alarm works

So, I'm sitting, playing a game and I here a car alarm going off. A vaguely familiar car alarm. My car alarm. I grab my keys and head out to find my backseat vent window smashed in. Nothing taken, either the person responsible realized he didn't want a pillow, a sleeping bag or a cheap ass bike carrier, or he heard me coming out the door and took off.
Can I tell you how much this sucks? Can I tell you how much I don't have the $250 deductible to get this fixed. Not for at least two weeks. I get paid tomorrow and that is gone to rent and, appropriately enough, car insurance!
Fuckers.
Oh, and while I was dealing with the mess, my game crashed.

Date: 2004-10-29 04:44 am (UTC)While I am not quite sure what a backseat vent window is, I got my passenger side front window fixed for $134 at a place on 16 and F. It was certainly better than the $450 my mother and I paid for the same window on a different car a few years ago, and better than $250.
