1) I dreamed of chinchillas last night. Lots of chinchillas.

2) Call for suggestions from my artist/theatrical type friends: I need a fake-blood substance that will pour somewhat freely and won't dry sticky (like corn syrup) but will indeed dry and be somewhat permanent.

do you need it blood red or dried blood brown? is it for the pouring effect or the dried on effect?

should stay red when dry.

It's a little of both. It needs to be thin enough to be applied without excessive brushing or clumping, and to be able to soak through fabric, but I want it to still look wet when dry.

(I've realized what my Barbie collection is missing: "Prom Night Carrie" Barbie.)

Accidentally replied as my Stargate alter-ego. This juggling two journals is gonna be tricky.

It's what makes fake-blood red -- the corn syrup and soap traces are for consistency and aiding in the flow, respectively ...

Don't know how 'wet' it will look once dried though. Haven't tried that part.

Hmm. Possible. But I'm thinking I'll still need some sort of a base material. The color just on it's own probably won't do the trick. Hmm. Wonder if it would mix with hair spray, or liquid hair gel or something like that. There'd still be a little sticky, but not like the corn syrup.
