Friday:
Clean house, read book, wait.
Phone call from Kevin: Traffic stupid. Running very late.
Read book, wait.
Kevin arrives, much hugs, cuddles, and sleep.
Saturday:
Shopping!!!
Capitol Aquarium -
Kevin: Ooh, I want this fish and this fish and this fish and this fish.
Terri: I want a turtle
Kevin:Or maybe just this fish and that fish.
Terri: We need to leave soon, or I'm going to have to kick the next child that squeals "look! it's Nemo!"
Cheap Thrills/Prevues -
Terri: I want something new.
Kevin: These would all look good on you.
Terri: (whimpering from dressing room) Nothing fits. I'm too fat.
Kevin: Here, try this
Terri Sigh. Fits perfectly, looks beautiful, won't hurt my budget too much, but the embroidery is fraying. No new clothes for me. Sob.
Merlino's Freeze -
Kevin: We need one of these in the Bay Area
Quick stop at TJ's for picnic fixings, and home to throw together food.
Shakespeare in the Park -
Yummy food (the cheese, the cheese), enjoyable preshow music, isn't that the same Shakespeare Lite bit they did last year?
Enter Petruchio
Kevin: At last! Someone who can actually project.
Terri: Meet Ed, my loudest friend.
Great show, except for the boy who couldn't act. Oh well, at least they only had one person who didn't belong on a stage with a speaking role for a change.
Home. Sleep.
Sunday
Alarm goes off. Hit snooze. Alarm goes off again. Get up.
Load bikes, drive to Franklin School on Hood-Franklin Road.
Proceed to ride to Isleton.
Eat super yummy salads at wonderful little restaurant in Isleton, Rivers Edge Cafe. Will return there to further explore menu.
Start ride back to Hood via Grand Island Road.
Rest for a while under a tree amongst the reeds.
Kevin: I am Zamfir, Master of the Pan Flute!!
Total miles, 51. No hills to climb, but headwinds are a bitch.
Congratulatory ice cream at Gunthers (Swiss Orange Chip, mmmm)
Home. Showers. Sit on couch, nibbling cheese, nursing sunburns and moaning over sore asses, watching Secretary
Hugs, kisses and goodbyes.

Date: 2004-08-03 09:23 pm (UTC)I find it amusing..I can run around all damn night..even 2 nights in a row sometimes, and be in highheels with no problem. Get me to walk two blocks or ride a bike(haven't since I was 16) and I'm hurting within minutes.
Call me about Thursday. =) We'll figure timing out. I may BBQ and hoping someone else is wanting to come hang out for the eve. =) Trying to get the Marysville girl down here.
