Home sweet home and stuff.
Jan. 30th, 2005 07:10 pmWell, I'm moved in.
There appears to be plenty of room for my stuff, although storage space is a bit light, so I may need to develop some serious organization-fu. I currently have a mostly usable kitchen (if you ignore the bike, the coffee table, and the shelves taking up half the floor) and a living room with a couch where you can sit and look past the towers of boxes to the television. The bedroom is starting to come together. The furniture is mostly where it should be, but the boxes of stuff still need to be sorted and figured out.
I've hooked up my computer, obviously.
There is one minor problem though. I have a phone line. It is, however, not my phone line. It is the previous tenants phone line. Color me surprised. So, it's useful for the modem, and for calling people overseas and racking up charges on someone else's bill, but it's a private number on the caller ID, so nobody can actually call me on it.
The point being: If you need to get a hold of me, use my cellphone, email, or LJ. I'll be having a chat with the phone company tomorrow morning.
