I love Lifetime on Father's Day weekend. Back to back movies, ranging from mediocre to downright cheezy, about single fathers primarily. The one I watched last night with Brian Austin Green was actually pretty good, but I just got home from my bike ride with [livejournal.com profile] lograh in time to catch the end of "Daddy," based on a Danielle Steele novel and starring Patrick Duffy, Lynda Carter, and Ben Affleck (at about 18 yrs old and with bad hair). Apparently Kate Mulgrew was in it earlier, but I missed that. I'm not sad.

After my bike ride today, I took a shower and took a nap (tired but not completely drained like last week - an improvement). When I got up and went to go find some clothes, I caught a glimpse of myself, naked, in the mirror. For the first time in a long time, I didn't scream. I stood there assessing myself for a moment, and decided that it wasn't all that bad (from the front at least.) I find this interesting, because I haven't lost any weight. I'm the exact same size I was 6 months ago when I hated what I looked like.

This is probably a healthy change, right?
