My vote for "Worst sequel ever perpetrated on an undeserving humanity" is Exorcist II. Good Lord, that was an awful film, with terrible acting, awful special effects (even by the standards of the day), a premise that had absolutely nothing to do with the original film or, well, any semblance of reality, and more. It made Highlander 2 look like a work of cinematic masterpiece.
