Ordinary Mothers

Question: Which is the more appropriate response for a mother to give her child upon being told, "Mommy, I want to be in the circus!"

A) "You do? That's nice. What do you want to do in the circus?"
B) "No you don't, honey. Those people aren't... normal."

It would be: "No sweetie, you can't join the circus. They abuse animals there - didn't I give you the pictures and make you cry before?"

Oh wait...that would be my kid. :)
