Then again, maybe not.
Aug. 18th, 2004 07:47 amI got the bike out to ride to school yesterday, and guess what? That tire I fixed on Sunday? Flat.
So, either the patch job didn't take, or the patch was crappy, or there's another less obvious hole, or god knows. So, I'll be buying a new tube and a spare on Bad-Check Thursday and pulling the damn wheel off and fixing it again, but probably not until Saturday since I'll be useless Thursday afternoon due to yet another dentist appointment. (Last one! Well, other than the follow up exam, but that won't be a bad one.)
Left with no other option, since I won't have my RT pass until after payday on Friday, I drove to my piano class, fought really ugly first week of school traffic, lost a dollar to a parking permit machine, then sat through a class that is way too elementary for my skill. Now, I know that in about 6 weeks, the stuff we'll be doing with actually take a little work and effort for me to learn, but Middle C was way to basic for me the first time I took this class (I dropped it about halfway through last time). Fortunately, we work with headphones, so if I'm practicing ahead of the rest of the class, it won't be overly disruptive.
Sigh. Only 7 1/2 hours and I'll be out of here. Don't wanna work today.
