Cute Kitties - Old Friends
Jul. 16th, 2004 07:31 amThe Boo Kitty made it nearly impossible to get out of bed this morning. Normally, Natasha's idea of cuddling is perching on my chest and rubbing her cold nose on my face and/or drooling on me and/or biting my cheek, chin & jaw. This morning, however, I woke to find her curled up next to me right about shoulder level. I reached over to put my arm around her and she grabbed my hand with her paws, pulled it close to her and snuggled up with me.
Of course, I had to get up 15 minutes later. I don't know why since our email is down here at the office and I can't get my files, therefore, I have no work. (Okay, I could be filing. I probably will be filing soon since it's too early in the morning for LJ to be that distracting.)
In other news, I got an email from my friend James, who lives in Texas. He's going to be working in Morgan Hill for a few months. Yay! That's local enough to hang out with a few times at least! I'm very excited. James is very cool.
Okay, I'm off to click on the Outlook Icon again in the hopes that it will open. Then, who knows, maybe I can write something. Trying to decide what to tackle first for the new writer's group. Something new? Last year's Nano in serious need of a rewrite? A third attempt on an older project that needs a different approach? Dunno.
