Being Sofia Coppola
Mar. 2nd, 2004 12:06 pmIt didn't work out so well for me yesterday. So, today, I thought I'd try being Helen Fielding.
I'm really wanting to bail out of my computer class. I have a lot of trouble sticking with things. Especially the ones that are dull and while somewhat necessary, 90% of it is merely a formality. So, I shouldn't drop the class. But if anyone can convince me why I shouldn't, I'm welcoming any prodding offered.
It's officially March now. I can now allow myself to look at the novel I wrote in November and begin the editing process. Um. I'm really not sure how to do that.
According to the link that can be found on several friends' LJs, on the day I was born, "I Think I Love You," by the Partridge family was #1 on the US charts. That explains so much.
In other news, it's official. The character of "Colin Firth" has been written out of the film version of Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. The actor, Colin Firth, will still be playing "Mark Darcy," but to save confusion, the hilariously funny interview in which Bridget focuses primarily on the wet shirt scene of Pride & Predjudice, will not be included. Fair enough.
And finally, there's a new Mary Kate & Ashley feature film coming to theatres soon. Yes, I know, nobody over the age of 15, except for me, cares.
