This week my schedule will consist of the following activities:
Work.
Packing.
That is all.
Gods, I hate packing. I hate moving. It's all such a dreadful nuisance. Admittedly, it's past time to get out of my hobbit hole of an apartment with its dark, looming staircase and the tone-deaf, obscenity hurling, jackass underneath me, but the process is painful. I'm a pack rat. I have so much stuff that I've acquired, that I can't give up. So, it must be stuffed into a box.
I am making some progress. I've got a lot of the living room done already. I'm thinking tonight I'll take on the computer desk (everything but the 'puter herself) and the living room closet. My room still presents the biggest challenge with far more clothing than I should have. I need to do a few more loads of laundry. I can probably get most of the bathroom packed up pretty easily too. There are a lot of things in there I don't use daily, or even weekly.
The entertainment collection I dread packing. Over 125 tapes. An unknown number of CD's. More DVD's than I think, but still the smallest number of the three times. I'm slowly phasing out the VHS in my life, but it's gonna take a while to get the 300+ movies I have on tape on DVD. Oh well, it will be one of the last things tackled, I think.
Oof. Break's over. No more stressing about packing for another hour.
