A brief overview of juvenile corrections in California:

The less serious offenses are handled by the individual counties, either in Juvenile Hall or in group homes, etc.

Offenders who committed more serious crimes or who screw up in county facilities or are determined too dangerous for county facilities go to CYA.

Offenders who screw up or are determined too dangerous once they're in CYA go to Chaderjian Youth Correctional Facility, affectionately known as Chad.

Offenders who screw up or are determined too dangerous once they're at Chad go to Sacramento Hall (Building 1 of Chad).

Found out tonight that I'm most likely going to be working Sacramento Hall.

Scary and Exciting all at once.

Going to sleep now cuz I have to be up and on the road back to work by 4 tomorrow morning.
