Well I'm a blubbery mess this morning...

Between getting all emotional over an email from my step-mom containing (hopefully) good news about my dad's progress and something really kinda cool that he said to her, and learning that a wonderful dog who, while I only met once, I truly adored has to be put down due to heart problems, I'm just a sobbing, sniffling wreck here at work.

I thought I might actually try to get some work done today, since I'm taking tomorrow off, but now, who knows. My initial burst of motivation seems to have given way to distraction.
