Dragging myself up from the depths...

I'm still not awake. Damn, I was ready for yesterday's ride with lograh to have after effects, but I wasn't quite prepared for what it took out of me. We left the house around 10:45 am, got back at 2 pm. I then took a shower, put on my favorite nightgown, and curled up to watch Farscape on DVD. I made it through 3 episodes. Shortly into the 4th, I was falling asleep, so I went to bed. It wasn't even 6:00 yet. I'm still tired. And I seem to have managed to escape sunburn everywhere except a little triangle shape on the back of my hand. Very weird.

But, I had fun riding, and by next weekend, I should be fully recovered to do it again.

Futility

So I approached my computer tonight, thinking I might actually get that scanner hooked up. Found the power supply, plugged it in, then set about installing. Minor problem. The computer doesn't seem to want to acknowledge the presence of the beast. Considered fighting with it some more. Too damn hot in here to worry about it.

So I considered typing up the latest segment of Dragon Story. Minor problem. Haven't found a way to end the section neatly yet. So, I could either type up the shorter version of it, that actually will end, or I could hit the notebook and try to clean up the whole "chapter." Too damn hot in here to worry about it.
