Accidental nice day off

So, I put off calling AAA until about 9:00 this morning. Then we got the car jump started and I drove to Sears to get a new battery. Also needed to replace the Cable From Hell that we rigged a couple of months ago when I had no flexible income to pay for a professional job. $90 and 3 hours later, I figured there was no way in hell I was going to sit through the rest of the day at work. So I called elisandra and she and lemur_hunter and I had a picnic in the park. It was fun, and relaxing, and probably just what I needed. I have so few "girlfriends." I need to spend more time with them. Sometimes, girl stuff is just what I need to perk me up.
