Hmmm....

Got a call from Blue Shield too. About a Data Entry position. So the question is, assuming I get offers from both companies (and yes, that's a really big assumption on my part) do I take the higher paying job that will fill my financial needs or do I take the job I'll like better and still be living from paycheck to paycheck (it will still pay more than I'm making now, but not as much)?

I would take the higher paying job. Customer service is hard but when you learn to put up with it I think it makes you stronger. I don't know. That's how I felt when I was an FSA.

Take the job you like better. You won't hate yourself so much on Monday mornings.

Take the job you'll like! Blue Shield sucks anyhow. I've worked there on temp assignments. They treat employees like sheep.
Unless of course the job you'll like more is at BS. Then go for the money! =)

My two cents--take the higher paying job. You may be able to save some money in the higher paying job so that, eventually, you will be able to move onto bigger and better things both fiscally and job-wise instead of continuing the cycle of living paycheque to paycheque.

Take the higher paying job- you'll probably hate them both, anyway.

Who cares which job you take, just take me with you!!!
